Howdy Paul,

Hopefully, Bush isn't going to go to war with Iraq unless the
U.N. says that this is the right thing to do. Although Bush could
start things up with a good deal of justification with 9-11 in
our recent past, I sometimes wonder if we're all playing with
nuclear fire here, folks, and this situation could easily evolve
into something that none of us want to see! OTOH, the US is
DEFINITELY pissed off and lashing out all all forms of threats and
terrorism directed toward our country and the rest of the world,
so Bush and the US could decide to say something like, "We didn't
start this crap, but we're sure in the hell going to finish it and wipe
out anyone who threatens us!" IMHO, this could be exactly what
we don't want or need to be doing, but, OTOH, I do understand
how Americans can think this way.
OTOH, I don't think that the US should be supporting Israel in
any way, shape, or form! If Israel is such a great country that
they proclaim it to be, then let them stand on their own. Also, IMHO,
they should give up the West Bank to the Palestinians, and let them
have a place to call home. Also, if this middle-east situation doesn't
straighten itself out soon, I can see where this situation could also
lead to situation that we all don't want to see happen! These are my
opionions, of course, and I'd be willing to bet that a lot of Americans
agree with these statements. The really bad thing about dropping
support of Israel is that, if we did this and they felt threatend, they
might feel like they're being pushed to use nuclear weapons to
defend themselves! IMHO, a nasty situation all the way around,
and the only way we're ever going to solve this situation is by
spliting Israel/Palestine right down the middle and having a
UN force force them to get along. If that doesn't happen, then
the Arab curse, "May you live in interesting times" sure seems
like its going to come true.
Ah. The geo-political scene. Aren't we having fun?! NOT!

Same here, Paul! Here's a couple more "names" you might
enjoy, too, brought to you by the ever-demented mind of
Randall :^):
"So-Damn Insane," and I like to call Rush Limbaugh
"Head Rush From Limbo." I also call George Bush, Sr.
"Big Bush." You have to think demented and perverted on that
last one! :^)
73!
