I seem to recall that many years ago, President Carter engaged the
services of a scholar to act as translator for him on a trip to Poland.

Unfortunately, the chap was not too familiar with modern Polish,
being something of an expert on old Polish literature.

I gather that he translated Carter's "I feel a great affection for the
Polish people" into the modern equivalent of, "I lust after your women".

Now that's SOC.
