I did that once in the days before the U class in SweepStakes - ran a
cluster printout from my cluster node showing everyone who posted the
"i need" and "please spot".   Then in Second Class fashion, I put it on the
contest reflector asking if these stations were Multi or not.

I would advise against posting any list of suspected "rule bending" in the
contest world - because the flames I got back would have made the St
Helen eruption look like a QRP match!  I nearly had to change my 
call!!!!!!!!!!!!

In SS you can receive spots if you are U or M class, but not A, B or Q,
and you can send spots in any class.AFAIK.

Didn't see any backups on my node, but there were 5682 spots originated
in Zones 1 - 8 on Nov 17, up from an average of about 1 - 1.5K daily on
non-contest weekends!
