Guess I know where my tax dollars (and my votes from the recent election) are
headed.   The Polk County (aka Des Moines, Iowa) Courthouse is eight blocks from
my work location, and seven miles from my home in Urbandale, Iowa.   I have
our 17 year old cat, Jasmine, to keep the rat population (currently zero) at a
minimum here.
