Funniest part being that most of them are as old as (if not older than ;p ) the 
people we are speaking abt.

And I confirm, here also the "questionable sexual practice" meaning is used. 
The F version being : "A voile et � vapeur", referring to boats, the one using 
wind -> veil (voile) and the one using engine and producting vapor (vapeur).
