[SOC] Bonfire Night

Yes, bonfire (aka Guy Fawkes) night is going with a bang...it sounds like
the blitz here tonight.

Several centuries on, us Brits have still not figured out whether we are
celebrating the fact that the plot was foiled, or the fact that it was made
in the first place!.

Thankfully, we have at least have moved on from the original (now largely
forgotten) outcome of Guy Fawkes night, when burning timbers were used to
set fire to the homes of local Roman Catholics :-)
