[SOC] Right wing faction

No bombings to report here, but we seem to have our own right wing faction.

This group calls themselves "Church of the Creator" and is an explicit
neo-Nazi, anti-Christian, anti-everything, white supremicist group calling
for racial war against everybody else.  After weeks of preparation, 30 of
them held a meeting at our local library this weekend, more or less to prove
their right to do so.  The regional population is several million, so you
can see we're talking about a fringe group.  Local Wiccan attendance is
larger.

Previous history indicated potential for violent protest against this group,
so the police had to prepare for a potential riot.  No idea of the actual
cost, but about 200 police of various flavors were used to
separate the two groups before anything got started.  The police outnumbered
the civilians 3:1 and the whole thing turned into a nonevent.   I find
interesting the level of effort expended to protect some splinter group's
right to advocate totally shitheaded acts, at the same time preventing them
from actually carrying out these acts.  Sobering.
