Hmmm, long experience tells me that statement in fact usually, but not always, precedes a
"Dorothy Dix" question:

E.G. "Would the Minister please explain the government's current policy on "XYZ". Is the
Minister aware of any alternative policies?"

Answer:

"This question is a very good one. I thank the honourable member for asking me [we cooked
this one up in the back room and hour ago]. As a matter of fact the government' policy is
a real good one, yadda, yadda. On the other hand as an alternative, those scabby, scum bag
ferals sitting opposite have a policy which would enslave us for generations to come...."

Riveting stuff, I get my info first hand by watching "Question Time" live on TV and not
from the biased media reports of what actually happened or was "allegedly" said. Seen a
lot of history literally taking place before my eyes.
