[SOC] 2BDQ trap dipole

Without consulting anything, seems to me the inner portion of the dipole
should be cut as an ordinary 40M antenna (at the resonance of the traps).
After all, the traps provide very high Z, so that -- supposedly --  nothing
gets through them to the outer portions of the antenna.  Hence the inner
part ought to be just your plain, garden variety 40M dipole.  Of course,
nothing ever works as it should, so you may have to do a little adjusting.
