Well Dan, in your first paragraph you have answered
both questions, and you could probably add a couple
more "really, really" 's adjectives to each part of the
question, for a better grip on how things are.  And
I have yet to listen to the current dxpedition activities,
but the gnashing of teeth is plainly audible - hi!
