Hi Rob.  Maybe that explains part of it.  LOL

I think it would be preferable to ASSUME that he's operating split unless
told otherwise.  Chances are a heck of a lot higher that he is than that he
isn't.

If a solitary DX station is calling CQ, then he probably is operating
simplex.  A DXpedition will not (except for perhaps the very first call of
his session) be calling "CQ".  Chances that he's operating simplex are slim,
methinks.
