No, I am not of the "Robin Hood" Gang ! BTW, how is doing Father John ?!

Well, well, well ...

So, as we are here to deal our past experiences ... your "game by the list"
reminds me a funny one which has not taken place, "unfortunately" (maybe !).

June 2001 : your Truly was on Prins Karl Forland Island, as an op of JW0PK.
Wonderful place, not a single human being except 11 mad ham ops. The nearest
town was Longyearben (Svalbard Isl), 8 hours trip by boat.
We have spent 8 days on the remote island. On the very last day the boat
supposed to pick us back to the "civilized world" had an engine failure while
leaving Longyearben ;o)))
As we were almost out of everything (food, oil, bread and even Orange Juice !!),
and as the WX was getting stormy (heavy wind + snow), we all went under the
"kitchen tent", we cooked the "last soup", a wonderful mix made of "everything
left". I will make it short despite the fact that doing so you will miss some
funny moments but well ... I am charitable, both towards you and towards my
fellow comrades of JW0PK (at least some of them ;o))
So, as we were waiting for some news for a possible boat to come, someone in the
group then said : "Well, guys ... now we have to face reality ... we have eaten
our last soup ... the WX is not so good ... a boat may not come before long ...
till then, we have to eat !" Everyone of us agreed ...
The guy went on : "Well ... we are on a remote island. This area is a Natural
Park, we can not kill any wild animal so the only way to find some food is ...
right here, under this tent, among us !"
.... Some faces started to get contorded ... It is amazing that in some
situation a lot of people are loosing their sense of humor !
And that guy said : "Well, for sure you all know that game where you have to
write down 2 names and at the end, the name will is collecting the more votes is
the "winner" .."
Unfortunately this game aborted right from the beginning bcoz the very first
friend on the row declined the invitation to write down 2 names.
4 hours later a boat came to pick us back to Longyearben ...

Besides that, this week spent on this remote Island has been a wonderful one.
The spot is away from everything and believe me, it looks like Heaven ! Should
