Ian, mon Ami ,
> Try an extremely hard red one, bowled at times about 140 Km/PH
Well, just wait for a while bcoz my shoulder is now under repair and I am
affraid I will not be able to threw the ball at this speed ...
What ??? You mean you want me to be on the _other_ side of the ball ??...
And I was thinking you were a friend of mine ... !
> Never, flannel trousers etc. We *are* gentlemen...
You mean "colonial style" ?! ;o))
Ok abt the bat. (bate in French. BTW we are using the same word for the base-
ball. Same in English ??).
> Games often last five days.
Does the entry ticket includes sandwiches and Orange Juice ?
Ok Ian, I will stop with my stupid remarks.
I must admit that I have never seen this kind of games. Just maybe half a
minute in some movie, no more. just wondering if some TV channel here will
broadcast this kind of event. Any specific period for any championship or
whatever you may call it ? Maybe the BBC W.S. may broadcast something of this
kind ? But I can not promise you that I will stay in front of the TV more than
2 hours in a row if I can not catch the rules !... Anyway, I will do my best !
And maybe I will be lucky enough (ok ... THAT was a joke !) to attend a real
one, not the "purely for TV" ones.
> FWIW
??? Now, enough of it. What does that mean ??
I just can not even guess a "funny" one ... a bit tired, sri.
