[SOC] Silly ham talk

One glaring example of "CB" type talk is the use of
the term "the personal here is" instead of name or
as some used in the amateur older days "handle".
All one hears on 10m ssb is "personal here is"
which is not a ham term. Don't hear that much
on 10m AM or cw. However, you will hear
frequent station ID's which is a left over from
when the regulations required more frequent
identification at the start, during and at the end
of a QSO. The politically correct regulations
of the day do make a statement for what they
do not say. Oh Well!

I don't approve of political jokes. I've seen too
many of them get elected.
