A misogynist monkey prevails in a city of Japan [ 2002-12-03 10:04 ]
TOKYO (Reuters) - a monkey in freedom has terrorized for 48 hours the
population of the town of Shimosuwa, in Japan, where 23 women were bitten by
the animal. "Since October, the monkey causes damage while robbering fruits,
but it is the first time that it really wounds someone", explained a municipal
person in charge for this city located in rural zone, 180 km North-West of
Tokyo. Early Tuesday morning, the animal has bitten the back of the leg of a TV
journalist, who is 27 years old, while she was preparing a turning. The
majority of the other victims were attacked whereas they were carrying out
their dustbin. Municipal employees track the animal with cages and rifles with
tranquillizing syringe. "We hope to capture it or drive out it into the forest,
but if the things worsen, perhaps we will have to kill it", specified the
municipal person in charge. Questioned on the fact of knowing why the simien
was bitting women only, he answered: "I think that the monkey attacks things
which appear to him weaker than him. It is not, of course, because he loves the
women ". Shimosuwa does not count among the Japanese areas where usually
monkeys live. The persons in charge for another municipality who had also
problems with the monkeys implemented this year a new approach to get rid of
some: they used the governmental funds intended for the fight against
unemployment to engage four people whose mission is to track these animals.

As for the title of this mesg, those of you who know who is Georges Brassens (F
singer, SK) will understand what I mean ;op

And for those who do not know who is G. Brassens ... poor of you !
You can check the lyrics of the song at :
http://site.ifrance.com/leparolier/textes/legorille.htm
English version :

Georges Brassens was a great singer, a bit "anarchist", almost never
speaking "politically correct".
