Not so silly.

Back in 1954 ABC Radio (no TV then) broadcast the fireworks display on Sydney
Harbour for the Queen's visit.

I didn't hear it, I had a superb vantage point sitting on the Oerlikon mounted
on the Destroyer HMAS Anzac. My big brother was serving on her at the time.
