Bonjour Bonsoir Ian & all Friends,

So the last few hours have been somehow prolific abt some animal species ...
Chicken, beef, koalas, kangoroos

<<
Tourism gimmick Claude, all publicity is good publicity.
>>

And we all know how "stupid" are the tourits ..!!
Well, you're right : there is no bad publicity. "Bad words or good words, the
most important is that you will speak of it".
Koala "cull" ?? Hey guys, why not sending those poor animals back in Asia where
they are not so numerous (but unfortunately also bcoz of the lack of food, as
least in China as far as I know. And also bcoz some gun users are "avid").

As for kangoroos, here in France it is accepted as a "plat de luxe". So go on
farming them, maybe some day I will be able to afford a plate !

I was abt to ask abt the rabbit situation in Australia but now I know. For some
obvious reasons (!), I like this animal alive but also on the table, cooked. BTW
rabbit meat is really tasty when cooked with a wine sauce, as for "coq au vin".

<<
Although for some obscure reason Germany does accept wild pig meat as a
delicacy,
>>

German delicacy is sausage with mustard and beer. But beside that I must admit
that they are doing a fine job in the "cakes" area, despite the fact that most
of them are full with heavy cream. But I am always ready for a good and light
"kougloff", with the raisins (dry grapes) inside and some almonds on the top ...

Ok, enough for now or I will have to go to meet the local pastrycook and order
some "delicacy" !

72!
Claude

PS: Attn Rob : just wondering how you can say that Coca-cola is tasty ... sugar
and benzin ... "Long life" to your stomach and happy cleaning of your car
batteries (and WC pipes ;o)
