We need some more information before making a recommendation.
Are you planning to use the antenna for FM (vert. polarization is the
standard) or SSB/CW (horiz. polarization)? Do you need any gain?
Do you want to rotate the antenna, or can you accept gain in only
one or two directions, or do you want omniazimuthal coverage?
How high will the antenna be mounted, and how many supports do
you have available? How much space do you have? Mobile, portable,
or fixed/permanent?
Some possible suggestions:
dipole (horiz. or vert.)
ground plane (with radials)
full-wave loop (vertically oriented)
extended double Zepp (or other "long" dipole design)
discone
collinear array
W8JK array
lazy H
rhombic
V beam
