[SMCARA] ARES Net Update

Good Morning! 
 The ARES net held on 1/16 went very well with a good number of check-in's. For the time being, we want to keep the nets bi-weekly in an effort to keep them interesting and have content/training for each one. With that said, I am going to move the next net to Thursday, 2/6 at 8:00PM. I'm moving it for two reasons: first, I will be out of town this Thursday and unable to run it. Second, and more importantly, we want to have the nets on the first and third Thursday of the month which will make it a lot easier to keep track of and not interfere with the SMCARA monthly meetings.

I appreciate the response received so far in support of ARES in the county and the requests for membership applications. As a reminder, if you would like to become a member of the ARES team, please send an email to me and I'll reply with an application: n2omc at arrl.net.  Also as a reminder, the nets are held on the 147.390 (PL: 123.0) repeater in Leonardtown, MD. A net reminder will be sent out on the day of the nets.
