Thinning the Herd Sale



It is time to thin the herd around here so I have decided that the following equipment is for sale.  If you don’t like the price, make a reasonable offer. Pictures available on request. I will demonstrate any of these radios on request.

·        M0NKA/RS-918 HF all mode QRP Transceiver. This is the Chinese clone of the M0NKA SDR that is still available on line. Radio is about a year old, recent firmware and boot loader is installed. PA bias has been properly adjusted. Radio is in good working condition with all documentation, microphone, AC power supply, and cables. The unit comes in a waterproof transit case (similar to Pelican case.) This radio is a perfect match for WSJT-X operation via its USB port and has PSK-31 internal to itself. It has a 3.5 inch color touch screen display and all parameters are easily accessed. ·        Icom 706 Mk IIG HF thru 450 all mode mobile with separation kit, mic and power pole power cable. Also available is a LDG Z-11 auto-tuner with cables for the IC-706. This radio has been around for a good while, not the cleanest, but in good working condition. (It has been in my truck forever, what did you expect?) I have used it for EME, HF and V/UHF Mobile, but mostly for repeater work. $500 or $575 with tuner and cables.

·        AN/PRC-104 (RT-1209 transceiver with AM-6874 20 W PA and antenna tuner) and AM-7152 vehicular adapter (all taken together are called the AN/GRC-213).   This is a miniaturized SSB- transceiver in USB. LSB or Data mode from 2 to 29.999.9 MHz 100 Hz increments. Connections are provided for handset, headset, CW key or data input. The transmitter's output is a carrier of 250 mW. 26.5V, needed for the transceiver, are provided by the amplifier / tuner unit. It comes with the AM-6874 / PRC-104 Amplifier and tuner which amplifies the 0.25W from the transceiver to 20 W, has a built- in tuner and can switch the antenna output to three antennas: a 16 foot rod antenna, a BNC- plug for an antenna that can be tuned, and a BNC- plug for a 50-Ohm-antenna. The unit is clean, fully operational, and comes with several battery cases one of which can be modified to provide 28 VDC from 12 VDC for normal operations using the included 12-28 VDC converter (new). The radio can be easily used with a Signalink for the digital modes by building a properly terminated cable using the spare connector provided. In proper working condition. $1500

·        Commander HF-2500 160m through 10m Power Amplifier. This is a great amplifier, with all latest factory mods, manual (with factory mod documentation), original boxes and dust cover. It uses a pair of 3CXP800s in the final. Easily puts out better than 2 KW CW. The finals are as-new and there are no problems with the amp. Also available with the amp is a Drake MN-2700 tuner in excellent condition. $1950 for both, $1700 for the amp only, OR $1000 for amp only without finals.
