[SMCARA] STEM Festival Update

   Folks,
 I wanted to send out a final reminder of the STEM Festival taking place at the St. Mary's County Fairgrounds this Sat, 27 Oct, 1000 - 1400. We have a good group of hams signed up to support but could always use more volunteers! We have full use of the repeater located at the fairgrounds and will be using it during the day for random QSO's and talk-in. So if you have time on Sat to listen to the machine, we may be putting some calls out for QSO's. Also if you are one of the folks coming to help out, feel free to give me a call on the repeater in the morning to find our spot on the fairground. The repeater info is: 147.390, positive offset, PL Tone: 123.0 

 I plan on showing up around 0730 and starting setup. Everyone else can show up when it's convenient for them, I would like to have at least a few people to help by 1000. The folks I have signed up so far are:

 As of now, we will be working with the kids using: fox hunting, CW, QSO's on the repeater and some HF. I have most everything I need, Michelle & Rick please don't forget the buckets! I have an HF radio setup coming with George so we should be good there. I can't think of much else we will need but if anything come to mind, I'll throw a note out on the reflector.
