Morning Eric

The Memphis Belle is scheduled to go on permanent display 17 May 2018 in
the WW-II Gallery of the National Museum of the U. S. Air Force

Scheduled between 17-and-19 May 2018 is a three-day celebratory event
that will include three B-17 Flying Fortresses, six P-51 Mustangs, and
three WWII-era trainer aircraft on static display; a ribbon cutting
ceremony for the Memphis Belle and Strategic Bombing Exhibits; more than
160 WWII military and home front re-enactors; 30 vintage military and
civilian vehicles; a Big Band Concert;book signings; and both Memphis
Belle films featuring guest speakers in the Air Force Museum Theatre.
Should be quite an affair

Activities will be both inside and outside the National Museum of the
U.S. Air Force

The YF and I were at the Hamvention at the Xenia Fairground last year
and like Tom said the Flea Market/Race Track, handicap parking and a few
other open area were mud pitts.  The fairgrounds though, have multiple
almost hanger size buildings with lots of exhibits and vendors; they
were all occupied and full. Despite the rain, we had a ball.  Here's
some pixs I took: http://www.rudas.us/goinrv/2017_Travels/hamvention2017/

Enjoy yourself
