Join our growing team! JEFA Tech is 15 year small family owned
business located in Hollywood, MD. We are a light manufacturer of
cable assemblies and online retailer of wireless products. We have an
immediate opening for an entry level cable assembly technician. Work
involves assembling custom coax cable assemblies which includes
cutting, soldering, and crimping.

- Select proper coax type and connectors per work order
- Cut cable to length
- Install connectors on cable, including soldering and crimping
- Cable testing, labeling, and finishing
- Typical coax reels weigh 40 to 50 pounds so the ability to lift this
weight to load our coax rack is required.
- Other assorted warehouse and office duties will be secondary to help
when needed

Requirements:

This is an entry level position, so we will train you on proper
soldering techniques and skills, but you should already have an
understanding and experience with soldering (hobby experience is ok).
A soldering skills test will be part of the interview.

- Experience with precision soldering is required, even if on a hobby level
- Experience with RF cable assemblies a plus
- Specific training related to coax cable handling and connector
assembly will be provided
- Training on use of test equipment will be provided

Scheduling is 8:30AM - 4PM Monday - Friday, however we are flexible
and can potentially work with you if you have other obligations.
