[SMCARA] Field Day 2016

Good Day SMCARA,
         I hope everyone enjoyed our Field Day this past weekend.  It was 
great to see everyone there and talk with so many of you at one place.  
I think Field Day came off pretty well, I could have done a few things 
better in preparation and scheduling, but thing seem to go off well 
anyways.  I would like to thank all that helped setup and tear down this 
weekend.  It is the hardest job of Field Day and you guys made it seem 
easy, bravo to all!  Thank you to Chris KC3ERI, for having my back with 
the coordination effort for the past several months, and helping pull 
everything together!  I am sure everyone is also thankful for June, 
KC3GYL, and the great job she did with the coordination of the food 
effort, don't think I have seen such good spread of food at a Field Day! 
Also a special thank you to Gene, N3NO.  Gene helped us get the VFD 
site, opened it up, supplied ice, a tower, setup, tear down, and was 
such a great help.  If not for Gene, I am not sure this would all have 
been possible, and if it was, it would not have been as great.  W3BNY, 
Ren, thank you for all the tips in coordinating, the genny, and being 
out safety officer!  As far as I know we had no injuries or deaths, job 
well done!  Again I hope you all had a good time, and will be back next 
year.  Now I am really looking forward to catching up on some sleep, the 
7 hours I got last night just didn't make up  for the 24 hours straight 
on site and awake at Field Day.  My recommendation for whom ever is next 
years Field Day coordinator is, do coordinators by shifts!  At least two 
shifts.  The day flew by, but by 3am I was really dragging, luckily 
Marty our ARRL MDC Section Manager came by at 4:30 and gave myself and 
KB3HAM some entertainment and kept us going.  Have a great day and see
