Holy cow! What kind of a dolt substitutes Pentodes (4-400) for Triodes
(3-500)? Just because they fit in the socket doesn't ensure success!
I have a couple of original Eimac shipping boxes for 3-500s gathering
dust. I'll bring them to Richmond for you.
