[SMCARA] Introducing your new W5YI VEC...

Which is me W3BNY.  I received my endorsement certificate in the mail
yesterday so I am now authorized to administer Amateur Radio exams (under
the auspice of W5YI) here in the county.

Some things to note about me the N00B....

1.  Things will be a bit...bumpy...at first so please bear with me as I get
used to being in the administrators hot seat.

2.  Schedules.  I expect to test quarterly at a MINIMUM.  More if there is
interest.  And by interest, please don't be shy about requesting an exam if
you feel you are ready for an upgrade and one isn't on the calendar.
Exceptions can be made.  We just need to find a PUBLIC location to test (we
cant do it at your house...with some exceptions which has to be
pre-approved by W5YI)!

3.  New technicians might take a bit longer at first.  I need to administer
a few tests and if the home office is okay with my performance I can
request an account to enter new technicians electronically.  So again
patience.

3.  VE's  Especially you very experienced ones.  I will greatly appreciate
your help!  Please don't be shy about nudging me in the right direction for
a bit and please don't be upset if I ask for your advice...a lot...at first.
