Subject: [PVRC] Fwd: Items for sale

Hello folks;

I have the following items that need a new home - pick up at my QTH only:

-- Briggs and Stratton model 030246 portable generator; 5550 watts; on wheels; 5 gallon gas capacity; fuel on/off valve; included 25' Generator Adapter Cord Set will provide four each additional 120v, 20a outlets - total of eight possible. Fired it up this morning for its quarterly test, original owner, light use, well maintained. $500

-- 40' universal aluminum tower, pointed top section, was used for a homebrew two-element Quad (included). $300

-- Rohn-25 pointed top section.  $50

-- 25' metal push-up pole with guy brackets, 1 1/8" diameter at the top.
$20

-- 3-element 10m Yagi, Telex/Hy-Gain model 103BA-S monobander.  $130

-- 2-element Cubical Quad kit - New - Never Built - All Hardware - Original Box - Original Instruction Manual - Pre-cut Essex MR-200 14AWG wires for each band; 5-bands 20-10m; purchased from Antenna Mart/Max Gain Systems; Model AMQ-2-5-8 heavy duty; 8 Fiberglass spreaders: 8 ft. length of 1¼" OD and one 8 ft. length of 1" OD round fiberglass tube both having 0.125"
wall. The 1" tube snugly-but-easily telescopes in-side the larger tube.
Using a recommended 12" overlap yields a usable length of 15 feet...more than enough for 20M. A foot of this extra length may be easily cut (with a
hacksaw) from the 1" OD tube, and epoxied inside the bottom of the 1¼" OD tube. This yields a full ¼" wall thickness at the point of greatest stress...e.g. where the clamps secure the spreaders to the spreader mounting plate or "spider." $600
