[SMCARA] club history

Afternoon all,

I'd like to improve the About Us page of the club website by sharing 
some info umm... about us. :) Do we have a club historian who could 
write up a paragraph or three about the history of the club, it's 
inception, early successes, etc.? What we're up to now is easy to write 
about but someone with a working knowledge of our past could help make 
the web-page a lot more interesting. Even a simple time line would be 
great. Any takers? And if there are club related tales that any of you 
would like to share I'd appreciate an email about whatever you know. It 
doesn't have to be stuff that would go on the About Us page, I'd just 
like to see some of the info put down on paper so it isn't lost to time.
