[SMCARA] Elected association officers - my nominations/recommendations

I might as well toss in my 2 cents on some recommendations as well. :)

President: I'd be happy to see Rob K3RWR or Boz N1LID

VP: If Rob is president then Boz for VP. If Boz is president I might be 
talked into accepting his nomination of me as VP.

Secretary: Jason N3YUG would be a great choice.

Treasurer: I already let Dan know I'd be interested in this spot unless 
Boz talks me into VP. Otherwise Chris KC3ERI would be a great choice.

No matter who ends up in the spots I'd suggest we find someone to be our 
regular public information officer. To tell you the truth I've lived in 
and around St. Mary's since 1986 and didn't know about the club until a 
year and a half ago. More consistent coverage of the club in the local 
papers (etc.) would be a good thing.

I'd also like to see someone as a regular point of contact for volunteer 
events. Tom Shelton ND3N comes to mind, he seems to have a passion for 
it and rallies the troops for a few events already.

And lastly, I'd like to see a public education/outreach person. With the 
push for STEM over the last few years I'm surprised that we don't 
already have regular contact with various schools, as far as I know. I 
know Dan does stuff sometimes but I think we have a big opportunity to 
get kids into amateur radio if we have someone with the knowledge and 
enthusiasm (*ahem* Dan) to spark their interest.

And a chicken in every pot. :)
