[SMCARA] Elected association officers - my nominations/recommendations

I wholeheartedly add my thanks to Boz's for the current club officers.
You've done a great job and helped to move our club ahead.

I'd like to see, for the first time in my memory, multiple nominations for
each of the positions.  I think there are a number of active members who
could hold just about any position.  I have no intention of seeking any
position, though I would accept a nominated should someone else put my name
forward.  Unlike a lot of the people being mentioned (and please don't read
that negatively), I'm a known quantity as a previous president.  Regardless
(and I'm hoping this is true of all active members) I'll do everything I can
to help the new officers move the club forward.

For what it's worth - I'd like to see some experience, both as a Ham and as
a club member, in the Presidential position and would look to some of our
more senior members (say 15+ years as a ham, General or above, and 7+ years
as a member of the club).   Off the top of my head, someone like Tom Clarke
would be great (though I suspect he wouldn't accept the nomination).

Other positions: VP - Boz, Chris Ordiway, Rob Renoud, Stacey McNeely, Ken
McNeely - - for Secretary or Treasurer: Robert McNeely, Chris Olson, Karl
Dalton, Rene Ramirez, or any of those mentioned for the VP positions.  I'll
be looking for someone in each of these positions who has been active and
made a contribution to the club.

First of all, I want to say "THANK YOU!" to the existing club officers.
I'd recommend you for another term without reservation.

Our constitution will not allow Dan to run for another term; our other
officers have expressed a desire to help the club in other ways.

Having said that, I recommend the following persons for our association
officer positions:

President: 	Rob Renoud, K3RWR  

Vice President:   Chris Ordiway, KC3DIG
	     	
Secretary: 	Jason Rearick, N3YUG

Treasurer: 	Chris Olson, KC3ERI		

Some members of the club have expressed interest in nominating me for an
officer Position.  Thank you for your consideration and trust.

I would accept (if nominated) >any< club officer position.  

However, I feel I'm best suited for VP, Secretary or Treasurer.
