METRON MA-1000B.  This is a 500-600 watt output mobile or home station linear amp.  Requires 50 to 70 watts drive. 80 to 10 meters.
Uses standard Motorola MRF-454 transistors that are readily available if you ever need to replace one.
Requires 12 volts at 75 Amps, so you need a sturdy power supply and appropriate sized wire ( #10 min, #6 or 8 better if over 10 foot run).
This will give you a commanding mobile signal or a nice compact amp for the home station. Running it into an LDG-600 or 1000 tuner
will give you a nice setup.
