If you're looking to fill out a few states for your WAS or to add to your
IOTA list, this afternoon will be a good operating opportunity for you.  If
this is all you needed to know before closing this e-mail, please scan down
and read my final note at the end.

The NAQP is a great contest because it limits everyone to 100 watts, meaning
you don't have to fight through the pile-ups against 1K+ stations.  This is
a North American contest, and includes all of the NA and Caribbean
countries. 

 

The exchange is your name and QTH (so mine would be TOM MD)

 

Contest starts at 2:00 PM EST and goes until 2:00AM.  

 

This is a CW contest, but because the operators (mostly) are more than
willing to slow down to a speed you are comfortable with.  You can also use
HRD or FLDigi to copy your code.

Final NOTE: August 15th brings the NAQP-SSB contest - if anyone would like
