[SMCARA] Ham radio on Linux Mint

I used to play with Wine on Ubuntu. I switched to Linix Mint 17 and I use
something called "PlayOnLinux". Its a front-end for Wine that I have used
for some Windows apps. Nothing with Ham Radio yet, but I might now need to
try. It seems ot do a good job of interfacing and taking some of the
headaches out of dealing with Wine directly. Here is a link you may want to

As far as N1MM its a steep one to learn also so far and I am using Windows
for that. Does not play well with HRD. Maybe some of the other Ham Programs
like fldigi, etc. Anyways, check out PlayOn and it might help some. 73 Bill
