Tonight at 0000Z (8 PM Local) until 2400Z (8 PM) Sunday Night brings the CQ
World-Wide DX RTTY Contest.

Full Rules here: http://www.cqwwrtty.com/rules.htm

USA/Canada Exchange: RST plus CQ Zone (Maryland is Zone 05) plus QTH (MD) -
so you'll send 599 05 MD

DX Exchange: RST plus CQ Zone - A map of CQ zones can be found here:

See the rules for points and multipliers. See the rules for different entry
categories (Make sure you understand the rules about alerting assistance)
and overlays.

What you'll need to operate.

1) An HF station capable of RTTY transmit/receive.

2) A logging program that will produce a Cabrillo file - HRD, DX Lab
Suite, N1MM, GenLog32, WriteLog, etc. I use WriteLog, many of my friends
use N1MM - you'll have to find one that suits your style and budget (these
range from Free to $99).

3) Some time to operate.

4) Even if you make only a handful of contacts, be sure to turn in your
log.
