Very true. Big downside of the Keurig. I have one and I drink 16 oz cups.
One cup a day but if you serve the 8 oz cups you will still need a few jugs
of water and keep refilling. The price you pay might be better invested in
one of the Bunn Coffee makers. It also has a reservoir, but holds like two
pots in the reservoir, plus the one on the burner. Had like a 3 to 4 min
turn-around time between pots. We used to have one when wife drank coffee,
now just me so the Keurig works for me. Again Amazon carries them from 115
to 130 about the same as the Keurig.
