[SMCARA] UV-5R programming

Thanks to Boz, Larry and Jim for the responses regarding my UV-5R issue,
they all suggested turning off the Tone Squelch or setting it to 146.2.
That answer is indeed correct but I realized that it was something
different that I was doing wrong. I did my programming in Frequency Mode
but wasn't switching to Channel Mode to use the radio. I already had
everything (manually) programmed correctly, I'm just an idiot after 8pm
apparently. I'm appreciating the manual and programming interface for the
Wouxun more all of a sudden.

I did find that the CHIRP software absolutely refuses to let me change the
ToneSql setting, it defaults back to 88.5 every time. Jim mentioned that
when using Tone Mode - Tone that the tone squelch setting is ignored. I'm
guessing that to set the ToneSql in CHIRP I would have to use either Tone
Mode - TQSL or Cross before it would allow me to set the number (there is
no Off option on the list). I'll give it a try one day and see what
happens, for now I'm pleased to report that I get a return tone from the
repeater when I key the radio. I'll catch up with someone sometime today to
find out how the Baofeng sounds on the air.

Thanks again to Boz, Larry and Jim (and for the guide too). You guys are
why goofs like me will someday look like we know what we're doing!
