[SMCARA] Club Station Upgrades - January 3rd - After the "Pig Out"

Good Afternoon All,

If all goes well this evening I will have the laptop that Steve (KA3WAP)
donated to the club reloaded. We have received and Rob (K3RWR) has
performed the power mod as found in the QST magazine on the Club's
Signalink USB. The Icom cable to connect the Club's HF rig to the PC is
in the cabinet at the museum. 

With everything in place and assuming the museum is open, I am looking
to install and test this Saturday right after the "Pig Out With The
Hams" breakfast. This install will enable us to do digital modes from
the club station.

If anyone would like to assist / watch you are welcome to do so. Might
be a good opportunity to see how it all plays together if you are
interested in getting into digital modes.
