[SMCARA] Antenna question

Dave, think of it in relation to the wavelength.
A short chunk of metal say 19 inches would have a big effect on a two
meter antenna, but essentially no effect on a 80 or 40 meter antenna.
Should work like a champ.

A piece of PVC should also work fine. Idea: try putting a wooden dowel
inside the pvc to stiffen it.
