I have a portable-ish echolink node ... I would just need an internet
connection. I might have an idea for that as well. I am playing with
HSMM-MESH (High Speed Multi-Media) Mesh networks. If the camp out is at the
same location then I might be able to provide an internet connection to the
site via the mesh network capabilities being my house is not that far away
from the site. Need to think this out.

Camporee
Dan, fellow hams, et al,
The Jamboree on the Air is the weekend of October 18/19.
That just happens to be the weekend of the Boy Scouts fall camporee at Long
Farm... again.
The organizers have asked us to set up again.
My thoughts:
HF will be crap again, maybe worse than Field Day. So making HF/DX contacts
during the day will be difficult. My thinking is to set up so that we can
connect to an IRLP node, or something like that. Maybe connect to one of the
regional linked networks.
Boys also liked the digital, and the adults liked seeing the different
antennas.
My problem: I don't have the equipment and don't know how.
I can bring the tent again. And I will bring food again. And Coffee!
Could I get some help again this year?
Thanks
N4PGG Grant

You have designed a system, Kind of, not to work, as I understand it.
