[SMCARA] encryption on St. Mary's Co. trunked system - public forum

I know some of you are aware that the county recently switched to a new 
P25 trunked radio system, and with the switch all police traffic on the 
new system has been encrypted.  I wrote an open letter to the county 
commissioners about this, and it was published in the Enterprise last month.

I have received supportive messages from several of the county 
commissioners in response to my letter.  The commissioners will be 
holding a public forum this Tuesday evening during which the issue of 
encryption on the new radio system will be discussed.  They have invited 
those of us who care about this issue to attend the forum and speak.  I 
will definitely be there, and I hope that many of you will join me.

The forum will be held on Tuesday, September 10 at 6:30 PM at the 
Northern Senior Center, 29655 Charlotte Hall Road in Charlotte Hall.
