[SMCARA] Jamboree on the Air and Western Shore District

Our troop, 2819, participated in the Jamboree. Our SM and I, the ASM, visited the HAM tent and appreciate the HAM edu opportunity to include the provision for Radio MB.

Our troop did not participate in HAM 'this time' however, the rep we spoke with was engaging and informative.
There was some limited interest by some of our scouts, but I suspect that they do not understand the great opportunities that HAM represents!

I need to do a show-and-tell follow-up at an upcoming weekly troop mtg to spur some interest, perhaps even with a club member with HF assets for some DX edu exposure as well.
Pete's upcoming D-Star may talk be a good opportunity to bring a few out for expanded HAM capabilities.

Thanks again for the exposure and opportunity for learning!
