Dan, et al,
This should only take a couple of hours. About an hour to assemble the beam (could be done ahead of time), get the rotator installed and wired, then hoist the beam up into place.
Pete: Can you check your sked to see if there is a window? Also see if Sam or Gene can climb for us.
Some Saturday morning (or during one of our new, temporary/permanent, TBA, sequestered, sort of, "Furlough Fridays"!) followed by lunch at the Bon?
Since our club is pursuing a new gastronomic tradition of social behavior (all good BTW), we can revive the old tradition of the "Lumch Bunch" of days gone by! Yes, Lumch is SIC, as that was the way Wayne, WD4MNP, spelled it in the original message that started the whole thing 10 or 12 years ago. We all got too busy and it fell into the dustbin of history.
I am quite flexible all month, since Kae is working at our new place in Charleston until the end of the month.
I (re)learned a lesson this past weekend. Don't travel home on the Sunday of a big (4th of July) holiday! I sat in traffic for 45 minutes between Fort AP Hill and the Harry Nice Bridge Sunday night and I-95 was stop and go from the Hopewell VA 295 split all the way to Wilmington (my son drove home to CT the same time).

It might make for a learning experience for the General Class.

Is there a chance we can get it up before the 27th of July?

Nothing firm, but it is ready to reassemble and install. Currently stored at K3NAL on base.

Subject: Club Station Antenna
Is there a plan for putting up the Club's Beam Antenna? It has been brought to my attention that there is some interest to use the club station for upcoming contests.
