K2BSA Jamboree Staff Members,

We're now at 37 people signed up for K2BSA Jamboree Staff. We have a total
of 50 full time positions. Given that 11 staff are attending only one-half
the Jamboree, we have around 31.5 positions filled leaving 18.5 full time
positions open. Of the number currently signed up, we have 12 returning
K2BSA staffers, 11 that attended previous Jamborees as staff members in
other operations, and 14 who are making this their first Jamboree. It's a
great mix of veterans and newcomers.

I'll note that Ron Wood, K0BRO, Radio Merit Badge Team Leader; Bill Bode,
W4WEB, Demonstration Station Team Leader; and Keith Kaiser, WA0TJT; have
been making excellent progress in developing the operations plan around each
of their operations. We'll be assembling that soon into Version 7 of the
K2BSA Operations Plan. As that comes together, and more is learned about how
the Jamboree will operate, I'll be setting up a webinar briefing for the
staff members to get everyone up to speed. That should be in June or July.

I'll be at the Dayton Hamvention this year. If you're going to be there,
too, I'd love to say hi in person. I will be spending some time at the ARRL
booth that will also be supporting a Radio Scouting exhibit. Be sure you
check it out.
