[SMCARA] Field day prep update.

Morning everyone.  Have gotten a few suggestions as you all have possible
been reading.  If you havent, here is the summary so far.


1.  Served agency area (county, Red Cross, Coast Guard Aux) and trying to
get more of them.

2.  "Pure" digital mode station (Boz you listening!)

3.  Pure solar station and exotic antennas (Ren you listen...oh yeah thats
me!)  I'll bring mah stuffs.

4.  Maybe two tents.  One for OPS and another for social stuff. (makes
sense)

5.  Major food allergy warnings on the serving line (Makes sense too
especially the nuts ones)

6.  I saw Ray (FWW) out in town yesterday and mentioned about the laptops.
Any thought of looking at refurbed ones from Tigerdirect/new egg or even
cheepie netbooks?  Anyone wanna do some research as to what we can get
cheap!  Anyone? Beuhler...Beuhler...

6a.  I have an "internet in a box" kit that i may bring...Just dont go over
5Gb of data or I'll kill all of you!  HAHAH...no really!

7.  We should have lots of radios to cover whatever we need.  As well as
the GOTA stations and other uses (do we get points for contacts on 27.555?)

8.  Admin.  Turning in our points.  Yeah we do it for fun but why not turn
the points in and get noticed (or laughed at...which ever.  But we have
fun!)

I think thats the status as is.  Anything else so far.  Good stuff to think
about and work out.
