[SMCARA] Malware alert for SMCARA E-mail list users

Folks,

  Yesterday, there were several messages posted, ostensibly, by John
Halsey (KG4LBJ) on this reflector.  John uses Yahoo.com for his e-mail
service.  Please do not click on the attached link.  I spoke with John
last night and he did not send them.  His Yahoo account apparently was
hacked and the spam being forwarded latches onto the mailing list in his
e-mail account and sends a copy of the spam message to all.  I have
instructed John on how to clean up his computer including running
updated antivirus software and using Malwarebytes to located and delete
the offending trojan.

  Today I noticed several others on our reflector, also with Yahoo e-mail
accounts, who are forwarding the same spam message.  Kevin Detwiler...
you are one of them.  You will need to go through your computer and
clean it up with an anti-spam program.

you do, do so at your own peril.
