[SMCARA] Programming cable for Wouxon

If you don't get one until next week, I am on travel until Nov 2, for
the Wouxon cable.  Have the dual band I picked up at VaBeach fest last
month ($105.00) awesome little powerhouse.

I thought Larry had one for sale in Leonardtown, with the radio. Might
work in a pinch.

In anticipation of Pete's 220 repeater returning to the airwaves, I
bought a Wouxon 220 handheld.  A neat little radio, however between the
inscrutable instructions and ChEnglish writing of the book, I discovered
that manual programming to be a nasty exercise. Although it is kind of
fun to have the voice prompts in Chinese-makes people wonder what you
are up to!

I have downloaded the software and now need to "plug it in". I would
like to borrow one to get it going and then spring for one from the
dealer. Actually it might be easy to clone the cable.

See you all Thursday at the museum for the "Swapfest"!  Bring your
