Hi All,

 

On Saturday 5-15-10, Doug, KJ4EOZ and his son are going to climb up to about
3,250 feet in the mountains to our west.  They are taking an HT and a four
element beam and plan to work 146.52 starting around noon.  Prior to noon
they will be on the move and using only a rubber ducky.  They should be set
up and ready to operate sometime between 12 and 1 PM.  The HT will limit
their entire operation to 5 watts.  As you remember Doug checked into our
net last Tuesday evening from the skyline drive.  He asked that I pass his
plans on to as many hams as I could.  

 

This is a good opportunity to conduct a fun experiment with your home
station, your mobile, or maybe your HT and a small beam.
