[SMCARA] Baltimore Amateur Radio Club Mini-Fest 2009

Hi guys,
   I received a letter from the Baltimore Amateur Radio Club (BARC)
concerning two of their upcoming events and wanted to pass the info
along to our southern Maryland ham community. 

EVENT 1

 On January 21, 2009 BARC will be sponsoring a "FREE" Mini Fest. This
event is held in the middle of the week and is slated for a 6 hour
event.  It is held in the Home Arts Building of the Maryland State
Fairgrounds in Timonium, MD.  Starting time is 1500 and will run to
approximately 2100 hrs.  Tables are provided, but must be returned to
their storage pallets by the users.  You must take all your trash...
Chairs are provided but again must be returned to storage pallets by the
users.  

EVENT 2

The 2009 Greater Baltimore Hamboree ad Computerfest will be held March
28th (8 AM -5PM) and March 29th (8AM - 3 PM) at the Timonium Fair
Grounds, Timonium Maryland.    Admission is $10 and good for both days.

Since the demise of the Gaithersburg Hamfest this event has become one
of the premiere hamfest on the east coast.  They will be giving Amateur
radio exams and doing ARRL card checking for DXCC, WAS, and VUCC.  There
will be 275 outdoor tailgate spaces as well as multiple building
utilized for indoor spaces.
