[SMCARA] 50' Rohn 25G tower available in Town Creek

I had originally been given the "ok" from Al Barolet to take his tower
down just before he moved.  Unfortunately, when it came time to do it,
the house was under contract and the tower was not excluded from the
sale of the house so it was transferred to the new owner.  I
approached the new owner and he wanted $1000 for me to take it so I
declined.  A few months ago, he called back with a lower asking price
and I still declined because at that point I had already found another
tower elsewhere so I was no longer interested.  Well, he just called
me again this week and said, "please take it or I'm cutting it down".
He just wants it gone at this point.  The tower is a guyed Rohn 25G.
Pete Butt has told me it has been for at least 20 years.  I have
climbed it once when I was checking it out and it seemed to be in
decent condition.  It has a just a small omni antenna on top so it was
very lighly loaded during its life.

Anyway, that is the history of the tower.  I am no longer interested
in it, but I told him I would pass the word on.  If you are
interested, you better act fast because I think he will be cutting it
down like a tree and throwing it away at his first opportunity.
