[SMCARA] ARES Net

All,
 The ARES simplex net that took place on 25 July went
very well. We had check-in’s from around the county
and three from Charles County. Most of the stations
were able to hear each other and net control, we did
utilize a couple relay stations to help maintain comm.
I plan to run some more of these types of
nets/exercises in the weeks to come. 

In an effort to keep the nets interesting and help
accommodate my schedule, I have decided to do the ARES
nets every other Tuesday with the next one taking
place on 8 Aug. If anyone has idea's on how to make
the nets and /or the ARES program more active and
interesting, please drop me a line, I'm always open to
suggestions!
